First novel
- November 1, 2025 – Started first draft with seed text of 4,000 words: old abandoned material that went nowhere.
- November 30, 2025 – Finished first draft with 50,002 words.
- December 29, 2025 – Reworked manuscript and sent second draft to first beta reader; 54,215 words. Later sent to more beta readers.
- February 28, 2026 – Received comments from most beta readers. Started revising.
- April 14, 2026 – Sent book proposal and full manuscript (third draft) to publisher; 60,242 words.
- June 5, 2026 – Manuscript accepted! Received comments from editorial assistant with ideas for improvement.
- June 30, 2026 – Received comments from two beta readers who didn’t get a chance to comment on the first round.
- July 5, 2026 – Sent manuscript back to publisher; 65,442 words.
